- ~50% reduction in tfx
- EPO level doesn't seem to matter, but sample size is small

- spliceosome modulator (e.g. SF3B1, SRSF2, U2AF1)

- 42 pts w HR or LR-MDS, 88% w spliceosome mutations
- 14% had reduced pRBC or plt tfx dependence
